Psalm 14:2, Fiber Fun, Literary Life: Liar's Dice, Finding Joy in Journaling from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 Hello There!
Thank you for stopping in for a visit! I skipped posting last week—life happens, right?—but I ended up accomplishing twice as much on my goals - for the blog and behind the scenes.  The rain here has been beautiful, leaving our desert plants looking fresh.  My husband and son were away on an overnight trip, and while I enjoyed a quiet morning for studying and writing, the house felt a bit too lonely without them. I was so glad when they returned!

Take good care and, as Daddy used to say,
"Make memories; it's later than ...

Psalm 13:6, Fiber Fun, Literary Living, Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 Hello There,

Thank you for stopping in! I'm taking things a bit easy as I continue to recover from surgery, which turned out to be the perfect opportunity to bond with my air fryer. I’ve been experimentingwith a few recipes and love how everything is turning out!

So far, I've successfully adapted a Stuffed Bell Pepper recipe from Dinner at the Zoo by air-frying it instead of baking it, much to the delight of my husband and son. I also bookmarked a great recipe from Urban Farmie that I'll try next with a mix of ground ...

Psalm 13:5 God's Devotion, Fun, Literary Living, Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 Hello there!

Happy Fourth of July to all of you who celebrate!  It has been a quiet week as I continue to recover from surgery nine days ago.  I have spent much of my time crocheting some cowls, reading a couple of books,  sleeping and occasionally watering our garden.  I've been eating comfort foods, but, starting today it's back to mostly healthy eating.

I hope you all have had a fabulous week and are ready to move onto a new week!  Here's a song to enjoy as you read this new post!

Take good care and, as ...

Psalm 9: 13-14, Literary Living, Fiber Fun, Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello There,
Thank you to everyone who stopped in last week!  It was fun to guest host Melva's Link Up and meeting so many wonderful people!  Thank you, Melva, for this wonderful opprotunity!  And thank you to all of you who linked up!
This week was jampacked with obligations every day - sometimes two or three in a day!  This weekend will also be full.  Thank God, most of these activities were fun!  As I wrote this post, I was surprised how much I did accomplish.  Usually things look worse in my head than the actually are.           After a few ...

April 20: 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, Fiber Fun, Literary Life and Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello There,

Happy Easter to those who celebrate!  The LORD is risen!

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit!  Let me tell you, the last two weeks have been so active!  We prepared for and enjoyed a trip to San Diego to see my parents.  Halfway through the trip, our son joined us.  Mama is doing well and enjoyed joking around with him.  Daddy is in a good place right now, thank God.

The blog has been sorely neglected.  This week I'll be catching up on comments and link ups.  I keep trying to write posts ...

Saturday's Song: Still Rolling Stones. Slow Stitching. Stash Report from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Saturday's Song

Are

The lyrics to this song are so powerful!  At first, it sounds like it’s all about Jesus rising from the grave, but then I realized it’s about us – rising from our own personal graves in answer to the voice of our LORD and Savior!

As we rise, we come alive with open eyes – eyes that see.  We become victorious.  Sometimes that victory doesn’t look like victory to those looking in from the outside, but no matter!  It is OUR victory and it is quite personal.  The chains of darkness of insecurity, of pain ...
